Our status
Trayambic is an advisory and consultancy firm. It is not a law firm, does not practise law and does not provide legal advice or representation. Services that the law reserves to advocates or to other regulated professionals are provided by independent professionals engaged directly by the client. The full statement is in the Regulatory Status and Disclaimer.
Information only
The Site gives general information about Trayambic and about regulatory, compliance and business subjects. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice and is no substitute for advice on your facts. Content is current only as of the date shown on it.
No professional relationship
Using the Site, sending an enquiry, taking a scorecard or downloading a resource creates no advocate-client, advisory, fiduciary or other professional relationship. Trayambic acts for a person only under a signed engagement letter, and it may decline any enquiry.
No solicitation
The Site describes Trayambic’s own advisory services. It is not an advertisement for, or a solicitation of work on behalf of, any advocate or law firm.
Enquiries
Do not send confidential, privileged or sensitive information through the Site. An enquiry does not make you a client and does not prevent Trayambic from acting for others. Personal data in an enquiry is handled under the Privacy Policy.
Scorecard and tools
A scorecard or self-assessment on the Site produces an indicative result from the answers you enter. It is not an assessment, audit, certification or opinion. A result does not show that an organisation complies, or fails to comply, with any law.
Insights and resources
Articles, whitepapers, blogs and downloads state the author’s view at the date shown and are not updated. They may refer to laws that have since changed.

You shall not:

Indemnity
You shall indemnify Trayambic, its partners and its personnel against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or its content.
Privacy

- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
- We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
- We do not ask for passwords, financial details, health information or biometric data. Please do not send any through the Site.
Our basis for processing
We process form data on your consent, which you give by ticking the box under the notice on each form. Each form asks separately, for its own purpose. We keep server logs because the law requires us to maintain security logs. Where a law, a court or an authority requires us to use or disclose personal data, we act on that requirement.
Who we share it with
We share personal data with the service providers that run the Site for us. Each acts only on our instructions, under a contract.
ServiceWebsite hosting and form processingProviderVercelServiceEmail deliveryProviderZoho ZeptoMailServiceForm recordsProviderGoogle (Google Sheets)We also disclose personal data to a court, regulator or law-enforcement authority when the law requires it, and to our own professional advisers under a duty of confidence where we need their advice.
We do not pass enquiry or scorecard data to the independent advocates and specialists who work on client mandates, unless you engage us and agree to it.
Transfers outside India
Our service providers may store or process personal data on servers outside India, in Europe. Indian law permits this except to countries the Central Government restricts. We will not transfer personal data to a restricted country.
Retention and erasure
We keep personal data for the periods in section 2 and then erase it. We erase it earlier if you withdraw consent or ask for erasure. The exception is logs and records that Indian law requires us to keep, which we hold for at least one year.
Security
We protect personal data with these measures:
- encryption in transit (HTTPS);
- access limited to named Trayambic personnel who need it;
- access logs that we review;
- backups;
- contracts that bind our service providers to equivalent safeguards.
No system is fully secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you without delay and notify the Data Protection Board of India and any other authority the law requires.
Your rights
- Know. Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it and who we have shared it with.
- Correct. Have inaccurate data corrected, incomplete data completed and outdated data updated.
- Erase. Have your personal data erased, unless a law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent. At any time. Withdrawal does not undo what we did before it, and we can no longer do the thing you consented to, such as replying or sending the newsletter.
- Nominate. Name another individual to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to.
- Raise a grievance. See section 11.
To use any right, email privacy@trayambic.com from the address you gave us. We ask only for enough to confirm the request is yours. There is no fee. We answer within 30 days.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information. Do not submit another person’s personal data without their authority, do not impersonate anyone, and do not file a false or frivolous grievance.
